Hello friends. How are you? I’m excited to share this year’s Moody Christmas Mantel with burgundies and hints of wine. It mimics the same colors as the tree and I think it looks so elegant.
I used a mixture of garlands and picks to create a lush looking garland.
I included dried hydrageas, dried oranges and of course lots of candles.
I added twinkle lights as well and two different colour satin ribbons.
I used THIS ‘crystal’ garland and attached small jingle bells and ornaments to it. This adds such a nice extra sparkle.
This is such and easy craft. You can watch how I did it HERE.
I’m still in love with these majestic birds hubby bought for me a couple of years ago. He bought them from Homesense but here are similar.
The thicker candles and real and I got from the Dollar Store and I painted some of my flameless candles to match the color and so I could place them closer to the wreath without worrying about a real flame.
That’s this year’s Christmas Mantel. I hope you like it. Below are some of my mantels from past years.
I love this one from last year.
This one is more neutral and I share how I layer the garlands
.
This one is one of my favourites and I used a lot of non traditional greenery for this one.
