Well hello there! It’s been quite a while since my last post. I hope you’ve been keeping well. I decided to take the summer off for the first time in many, many years and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I can’t believe how fast it went.
Today I sharing this simple fall mantel and I’m typing this as I sit in a hotel room from an actual castle .
and because of that, I don’t have all the photos I had taken of the mantel because I forgot my USB at home 🙁 but you get the gist of it.
Hubby and I celebrated 25 years of marriage on Sept 7th and he surprised me with a beautiful trip to Quebec City. I can’t wait to share more
of this beautiful hotel and city with you. You can follow me on Instagram where I’ll be documenting our trip.
Back in April, I ordered THIS mirror and it didn’t arrive until the end of June. I think it was worth the wait, however, I didn’t realize I ordered the silver finish instead of the gold. 🙁 It’s still beautiful and if you’re in Canada it’s almost an exact replica of the Anthropologie mirror but for half the price.
Last week I brought home this beautiful smoke bush branch and I placed it in the bust. I love the statement it makes but I decided to place it on the mantel for a simple way to bring fall.
I think it looks beautiful and it’s perfect as I don’t have a lot of space on the mantel.
I didn’t really change the shelves that much but I did buy that cute pumpkin from Homesense and I love it.
Here’s one last look at the mantel. Simple but so cute.
