Hi friends. How are you? It’s been cold, cold, cold around here and winter is in full swing. I’ve been painting my hibernation away and wishing for a little more sun shine. But I find the seasons go by so quick and winter gives you a little break from the busy so that’s a good thing.
It’s already almost the end of January and Valentine’s day is right around the corner so today I wanted to share with you three Classy Dollar Store Valentine’s day decor DIY’s. Even though I love pink and red, I wanted to make something that fit a little better with our decor.
Before I proceed, I’m excited to participate in my first hop of the year. This hop is being hosted by my friends Ashley and Janine. A big thank you to them for having me.

The first DIY, is this super easy, yet super posh little gilded heart bowl.
I used a simple Dollar Store heart bowl, spray painted it and covered it with gold leaf
You can use it to put some candy or chocolate or use it as a catch all.

Next I revamped a not so pretty candle into this stylish black and gold candle…
You can also do this with a container and it would look great.
Lastly, this little heart planter…
I used the textured spray paint but I think the ‘Cement’ finish spray paint would be even better.
