It’s almost the weekend and I have a delicious little cocktail to celebrate . This delicious sparkling apple pie cocktail will become a seasonal favourite. It includes the delicious taste of apple and cinnamon.
I first tasted this little cocktail at a business dinner party last fall and had forgotten how yummy it was until I made it again for this post.
Funny story: I had gone to the grocery store and forgot to pick up some ciders so I mentioned to hubby how problematic it will look when I go to the grocery store at 8:00 am to buy ciders. Ha.
Hubby and I ended up going minutes before the store closed and the funny thing was, that the only people in line was myself and some other dude and both of us were just buying alcohol. lol
Ingredients:
4 oz of cider or apple juice
4 oz of champagne or sparkling wine
Ground cinnamon for garnish
Sugar for garnish
Apple slice or cinnamon stick for garnish
(the original recipe called for cinnamon whiskey but I find it a little too ‘punchy’ )
Mix the sugar and cinnamon together a 3:2 ratio and place on a shallow dish.
Wet the rim of your glass with a wedge of lemon or lime and dip glass in cinnamon/sugar mix.
In a shaker cup mix champagne, cider and ice. Shake well and pour into glass.
Decorate with cinnamon stick or apple wedge and enjoy.
As you can tell, I enjoyed taking photos of my apple branch.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a beautiful weekend.

I love this apple pie cocktail. The waste water treatment needed in industrial places. Will try this once.

Lucy this is a truly amazing idea but you know fresh and pure drinking water is a must for any kind of cocktails. Unfortunately this basic human need is getting scarce in many third world countries as the quality of water keeps on deteriorating in the face of unplanned industrial growth which are polluting our water resources. The use of domestic water filters in Karachi is increasing as more and more people are forced to install them in their homes in order to get fresh clean drinking water.

The Sparkling Apple Pie Cocktail is one of my favorite fall drinks! I love how nursing center Los Angeles the blend of apple cider, cinnamon, and sparkling wine captures the essence of a classic dessert. It’s perfect for gatherings or cozy nights in, and garnishing with a cinnamon stick adds a lovely touch.
