Hello friends. Welcome to my favourite room in our home! I shared a little bit of our living room and dining room HERE earlier on today but I’m joining more of my friends as we
share fall in the family room.
Everything here is pretty much browns and blues. I also brought back this rug from last year.
I found this gorgeous bowl at the thrift store over the weekend.
And I’m loving that pampas grass I found at Pier 1.
The throw picks those rusty colors in the rug so perfectly. I love that color against the dark built-ins.
My poor little Brody has seasonal allergies and has been miserable this month. Thankfully, ragweed season should end soon and he’ll be happy again.
I started the fireplace but I think I had the settings to low because that’s one sad flame…lol
And I would usually ‘erase’ my image from the mirror but I thought I’d show you how I’m holding the chandelier out of the way with one hand, while standing on a chair and taking a photo with the other. lol
This little vase is also one of my newest finds from the thrift store. It’s super cute isn’t it?
There’s my ugly/cute tiger…
and here are some more photos of the various changes in the room….
That’s it for now. Please make sure you check out the gorgeous family rooms from my friends.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. See you again tomorrow.
much love,
Lucy

So beautiful, Lucy! I love the changes you’ve made in this space – transitioning from white to a darker, cozy color scheme.

The dedication to your craft is outstanding, albeit a tad dangerous….maybe you should look into AFLAC ?? Lol.
That pooch is beautiful. He enhances your decor just by being Brody. ❤️ And girl, your thrift stores are stepping up their game. Good snags Lucy. I loved your post on IG with paint in your hair …. you are up to something good….. 😘

I would love to know where you purchased the white rug?

Hi Lucy,
I love the layering of the pattern rug over the white rug. Where did you purchase the white rug? How much larger is the white rug in comparison to the pattern rug. I love your living room especially the colour scheme.

What is the color of the dark builtins? Is it a gray or a dark greenish tone; I can’t quite tell. Looking to do something similar in my fireplace room as I’m in love with your style and how this room looks ❤️

Hi there! I love fashion. I love interior decorating and I love Pinterest. I’ve seen sooo many spaces. Yours is absolutely the best space I’ve ever seen. I love the fireplace mantle colour. I have the same tan brown leather couch. A jute rug. My walls will be a chantilly lace colour. Beside the fireplace will be wall mount lighting which is basically a black rectangular box that draws out light from the top and the bottom like a beam. I was looking at lead gray by Benjamin Moore for the fireplace mantle. Could you please help me match this colour. The inside of the fireplace will be black with a black tarrazzo tile called Cambrian honed black. Thoughts?

Have you heard that you can buy wife online? Yes, it is! And for this you do not even need to leave your apartment, everything can be done via the Internet! You will only need a computer or phone with internet access. Maybe that’s all that separates you from the love of your life. A huge number of foreign women are just waiting to get themselves such an enviable bachelor like you, but do you mind? Of course not! Go ahead!

For many of my acquaintances, a kiss with the tongue is not an understandable and not familiar thing, but someone in general put an end to it because of not knowing. It’s good that you can share the site cupid.com with them, where everything is described in great detail and informatively. Any person will find all the answers to their questions on it.

Can you please tell us where you got that rug from?

Hi, your article came through on Pinterest, like many others — interested in the details on the patterned rug in the fall 2019 posting. Will you please share manufacturer and color? Beautiful combination of colors and objects.

PAINT COLOR: For everyone asking what the paint color is, it’s Midnight by Canadian Tire. Dupes are Benjamin Moore “Midnight” or Sherwin Williams “Naval.” She says it on her Instagram 🙂 You’re welcome!
