Hello again friends. I can’t believe that today is Thursday already. We had our first little tease of summer weather this afternoon which has motivated me to get the backyard ready for the season. Last fall we got rid of our old canopy. It was rusted and the cover was all ripped. I’m excited to receive and install a new one I ordered this weekend.
We’re also trying to decide on a new configuration for our sitting area but we’re still not too sure. But in the meantime, I’m happy to be sharing this cute succulent pot in a pot idea along with many other incredible patio inspiration from my friends below.
This is a fun trend that I’m seeing emerge in social media, so I thought I would give it a go and let me tell you, it was sooo much fun. I know I’m going to be making more of these cuties.
Here is a video I made for you. I hope you enjoy it. I had taken a little break from making videos because I misplaced my camera battery and was waiting for a replacement to arrive.
I’m in love with this idea and I can’t wait to display this in our outdoor sitting area this summer…:)

Beautiful, as always. Love the idea and will be doing this for my outdoor patio. What is the white stuff you put in the pot?

It’s a fine gravel – not sure if it was purchased at the same time as the succulents?

I LOVE this idea, thanks for sharing. It’s so beautiful. I want to make one but worry I won’t be able to keep it alive. Does it need watering? Misting from time to time?

I love this ideal. I just planted succulents for the first time in a large pottery pot. So Want to see how that works out and would love to do as well for my deck and tables inside. I will be checking out your website regarding g additional care tips. Thanks
