Hello again friends. It’s Friday and we’re about to enjoy our ‘March break’ or Spring break. Hubby is taking a couple of days off so I’m excited about that. Today I’m also so happy to be joining my friends and share this sweet spring tablescape. I mentioned on my last post that I had bought some flowers over the weekend and instead of doing one giant arrangement, I made three little ones. Using a combination of faux and real flowers.
I haven’t done a tablescape in a while and I forgot how much I love putting them together.
I only used items that I already had at home. I didn’t want to buy anything new because I feel that slowly but surely, we’ve (mostly me) accumulated too much ‘stuff’. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t take the ability to buy new for granted. There was time when we didn’t have any money for any extras. But as hard as that season was, it taught me that money comes and goes what we really need is our family and God. During that time, I also realized that I would rely a lot more on my ‘ingenuity’ and it was then when I think I had my best ideas.
So I used these pretty vintage pink glasses from THIS tablescape and my usual white plates. White plates are a must and a staple in all my tablescapes.
The little Dollar Store bunnies keep making an appearance because they’re just so cute.
They’re from the Dollar Store and this is what it looked like before. I used my favourite gold spray paint: Rust-oleum Metallic gold . I have tried other gold spray paints and this is my favourite brass finish because it’s a little warmer than the others. I also spray painted the little gnome which I’ll share later on.
I tried to take a video of the process of putting together one of the flower arrangements but unfortunately, my battery ran out and I was running out of time to take these photos. So I owe you a video. I hope you like this sweet spring table and please don’t forget to visit my friends below for more beautiful ideas. Thanks to my friend BRE for putting this hop together. I hope you have an amazing weekend. xo

Lucy,
Absolutely gorgeous!
Love how you’ve added the sweet Dollar Tree bunnies among the bouquets!
I, too, used my white urns to make three Spring bouquets for an upcoming Ladies Luncheon
that will stretch the length of a six foot table. I host on Wednesday, and I’m filled with anticipation.
Enjoy your time with hubby’s few days off.
Thank you for always filling me with inspiring ideas!
Pat
