Hello friends. I’m so excited to be sharing my first Spring craft of the year along with some of my talented friends. I’m especially happy to share this fun faux fern planters using Dollar Store items.
I find that many of the Dollar Store crafts I see online are a little too ‘cutesie’ for my current style so I try to think of ways I can make them a little more ‘sophisticated’ but better yet, something that can be used in various decor styles.
I was browsing through the Pottery Barn catalogue a couple of weeks ago and I came across THIS photo. I believe this is a real fern but I fell in love with the way it was displayed and thought it would make a great DIY.
And especially if I could challenge myself to make it out of Dollar Store items.
In total it cost me less than $10. I do wish I had put more ferns but unfortunately, they only had 5 and I didn’t really feel like driving to another Dollar Store. But I don’t mind that it’s a little sparse .

I think it looks so fresh and I love that it will also look great with my summer decor.
