Hello friends and happy November 1st.
I’m excited to resume our Farmhouse Holiday series in our master bedroom, with help from our friends at Birch Lane.
This amazing Emory Plaid Duvet served as the inspiration for our bedroom this year. I love the timeless plaid pattern and rustic stitching which conveys a handmade sentiment.
To compliment the duvet, I brought in my plaid pillows and throws.
Dress your room for winter with knitted throws and soft cozy textures.
And accent pieces, like this sweet little horse I found last year.
I like reusing items from previous years as it’s not necessary to purchase new every time.
I find the detail on these pillows to be so sweet and tender, don’t you agree?
Brody looks a little grumpy in this photo. Probably because he had been napping on the bed (see below) and I asked him to please move.
Here’s another shot of the crocheted detail on this sheet set. Sweet, right?
I’m sure this bedroom will look different the next time you see it, but for now, I’m enjoying the touches of plaid. It serves as a great transition between the fall and winter seasons.
Here are some of the items from the post:

Looks beautiful. I love the plaid trend, even though I haven’t decorated with it before. That pic of grumpy Brody though is priceless.

I love plaid! It’s my favorite! I’ve been looking for plaid throws and pillows already. Such a cute idea with your wreath. Loved your wreaths on your doors last Christmas too. Where did you find those cute scarves on them?
