Love this little project! On step one, where you paint the feather with water, do you leave the center vein dry or did wet the whole thing?

Hi Mary. Thank you so much. I use Windsor & Newton. But I have also found Artist’s Loft from Michael’s is a great inexpensive brand to use…xo
