Hello friends…I hope you had a nice weekend. This is the last week of school and I’m so looking forward to the carefree days summer and warm evening walks.
I love having the kiddies home and being able to spend time with them, but as they have gotten older, I find that it gets a little harder to keep them entertained. There was a time when I could easily plan a picnic and head to the playground or the zoo and that was good enough. Our teen boys don’t share the same enthusiasm over playgrounds or the zoo anymore.
Fortunately, they still like being around me and just talking about their interests, especially if there’s food around. Hubby and I have always said that we want our home to be the ‘hang out home’; the house in the neighborhood where our kid’s friends come and spend time and so far, it has been that way and I hope it continues to be so.
Fortunately, our youngest daughter still enjoys little crafts and anything art related, so I plan to enjoy that while I can. We made this sweet paper flower garland a couple of weeks ago to hang over her bed to accompany a little makeover in her room, which I hope to share with you soon. This is so cute! I wish my printer worked so I could print some of these out! Even if I didn’t use this to make a garland, it would be cute on a greeting card Love it! I’m going to save this!
When my printer gets fixed or I get a new one (whichever is cheaper) I’m going to try one on a card. My niece is home from Orlando (she dances with the Orlando Ballet) and she would love to make some with me!

Just so you know, I am giving your pillow covers to some of my grandgirls for Christmas. Think it was 5 I ordered a couple weeks ago and got them this weekend….adorable and the girls are going to love them on their beds. Think the count I’ve ordered from you stands at about 8 now….maybe more. hahhhaa…..I LOVE your pillows.
