It’s Monday morning and as I glance at the clock, I can see that it has already gone around one too many times for my liking.
In the distance I can hear the final spin of the washing machine and I anticipate that familiar little chime, telling me that its job is done.
I glance over out the window and see that the snow has stopped falling, leaving behind its cold yet beautiful blanket upon the ground.
Canadian winters can feel very long and yet these cold ,gray days make us appreciate the rare appearance of the sun.
This weekend, we had a little bit of sunshine and it reminded me of the beautiful blossoms of summer.
Paint melts away the snow and fills my heart with colorful blooms.
and I am filled with hope and gratitude.
