Hello again friends…we’ve made
it half way through the week.
We are on week two of the
One Item Project Challenge,
hosted by my sweet friend Shauna.
Our challenge last week was to create something using
This week, we were challenged to use fabric.
I have been wanting a bench for the foot of our bed
and this was the perfect opportunity to build one.
Or should I say for hubby to build one.
I really like the look of X-leg benches
and love the way this one turned out.

I used this classic Natural Linen Harringbone
fabric from OnLineFabricStore.
The colour and buttons resemble that of our headboard.

I also ordered this gorgeous Waverly Country Linen
fabric which I will be using to make pillows.
The fabric comes in this fun bag and it is ‘wicked good’.
I first used fabric from OnLineFabricStore in the summer
when I made over this chair. I really love the quality of the fabric.

And it didn’t disappoint this time either.
I think Brody will come to like the new bench,
but for now, he’s skeptical of the new piece of
furniture and leaps over it to get on the bed…ha.

Tutorial please! I’ve been wanting a long bench at the end of our bed as well and this one would be perfect! Great job!!
My wife and I wanted to update our interior and realized that little things matter. We wanted to replace the handles on the cabinets, the hinges on the doors, but the selection in regular stores is poor. I started reading Furniture Row reviews and found a home fittings store. Before ordering, I read the reviews – many praised the quality and fast service. I ordered and did not regret it: everything was delivered quickly, the parts are durable, they look stylish. Now I know where to look for the right fittings!
