November is upon us and while hard to believe,
it’s time to start thinking about Christmas.
I don’t usually plan my Christmas decor in advance as
I prefer to let it evolve as I go. This post serves as a little
preview of things to come as I’m not sure how everything
will turn out in the end…but that’s the beauty of creativity.
If nothing else, I hope this will start to get your
own wheels turning for your decor this year.
I ordered these gorgeous ornaments from Balsam Hill, appropriately called
Winter Frost. Appropriate as the theme I’m leaning towards is the frozen tundra.
Ok, so the name itself admittedly doesn’t sound too appealing, but
this is what I’m thinking – fur throws, birch logs, and lots and lots of sparkle.
Like these gorgeous glittered pine cones.
And adorable winter critters such as this one, also from Balsam Hill.
See how pretty the birch, ornaments and fur look together?
I also ordered this beautiful Norway Spruce tree.
These trees are so realistic and gorgeous that it’s
taking all of my power to not set it up already.
The tree is still in the box and wrapped up, but
I wanted to share how realistic it actually is.
So there you go…a little sneak preview of what’s coming this year.
I can’t wait to get started and see what this vision turns into. 🙂
In the mean time, here is a post of Christmas past.
I would love to hear your plans for the upcoming holiday season.
Thank you so much for stopping by; hope to see you again soon.
much love,

I love this look – soft blues, whites and lots of texture. It would fit perfectly in my living room. It’s a nice alternative if you do not want the traditional reds and greens.

It all looks beautiful. My mind is kinda going in the snowy winter direction too with a few critters thrown in and fur. Wow! I’m sure your ideas will be as jaw dropping as they always are.

We still need strong public awareness for this sort of article. I would like to see like this more post.
