It’s Friday and though and I’m excited to welcome the weekend,
it’s going to be a busy one for us as we tackle our long to do list.
I can’t wait to be able to check everything off so I can sit
and relax by the light of the Christmas tree. But in the mean
time, I wanted to share my little raggedy tree, and
just wait and see what my friends have put together.
This time around, some of my very talented Canadian friends
wanted to bring you a little rustic Christmas. I decided to use
They have such a vast selection of ribbons, but I thought the
vintage look of the ribbon would be perfect for these rag trees.
– Screw a stick or dowel onto a piece of scrap wood.
– Cover the tip with a piece of ribbon.
– Cut three different size strips of ribbon, according to the height of your stick.
– With a glue gun, start gluing from the bottom and work all the way.
– (This part might not be necessary if you use a wired ribbon) Turn tree upside down and spray with starch, allow to dry.
I made three of these raggedy little trees, but
take a look at some of these gorgeous projects and
make sure you head on over to check them out…
