The nights are getting cooler and the days shorter.
It’s only a matter of time before summer packs its bags and autumn moves in.
But before we say good bye to summer, some of my Canadian friends wanted
to invite you into their homes and were kind enough to include me in the tour.
So welcome…
Not too much has changed since my last summer tour (here).
I’m still loving indigo and all the shades of blue that so perfectly fit with summer…
I made these cool Shibori pillows.
You can read how on my eHow post HERE.
I love displaying fresh flowers whenever I can and especially
love using hydrangeas from my mom’s garden.
As you may already know, we have an open concept home, where the dining room
can be seen from the living room. It can get tricky to decorate this type of space,
so using furniture or a rug is helpful to divide or define two separate spaces.

My favourite piece of furniture is likely this hutch as it was
one of the very first makeovers I ever did. You can visit my
project gallery to see the hutch change through the seasons.
More hydrangeas…
I changed the display a little, adding some of my vintage cameras.
I love displaying things under cloches, don’t you?

And this is probably my favourite space in the house,
as you know how much I love decorating my mantel.
Can you tell how much I love hydrangeas?
Every season brings beauty – in one form or another – so
why not take advantage of such beauty inside your home?

This is our master bedroom, which still needs to be completed,
but for now, it’s bright and airy and I’m happy with it.

And this is our Aussie pup, Brody which proves you that
you can have white furniture with children and a dog. 😉
Thank you so much for visiting our home.
Below is the list of my friends, whom I hope you
can visit to view their beautiful homes.

I just love your style! Your home, particularly the living room, is exactly what I’ve been looking to create in my own home. Did you paint the canvases behind the couch? They’re gorgeous and just what I’ve been looking for. Do you happen to sell any of your art? Make pieces on request?

If you think office furniture is mundane, you haven’t visited https://corechair.com/how-coreperch-active-seating-stool-can-boost-your-productivity-and-wellbeing/. They introduce a unique concept, the ‘active seating stool,’ and make a compelling case for why it’s an absolute game-changer. Gone are the days of slouched postures and sedentary workdays. The active seating stool promises to revolutionize workspaces, making them more dynamic, engaging, and, most importantly, healthier. The transition to this seating style was remarkably smooth and worth every bit.
