Hello all! I hope you enjoyed your weekend!
This weekend, our little family hit another milestone as our oldest
son turned 13. It’s hard to believe we are officially parents of a teenager.
I remember every emotion I felt the night the pregnancy test announced
I was pregnant. And the tears of joy that flowed from my eyes as I broke
the news to my husband. At that moment, I not only felt immense love for
our unborn child but I also fell in love with my husband all over again.
I knew then being a mom was what I was meant to be
and I had the best partner to help me along the way.
People have been quick to warn us of what is to come in the
teenage years. While I am not naive to the struggles, I have faith
and peace in my heart that as long as we hang on to God’s hand,
He will help us in this new stage of our lives.

I miss those little chubby hands that used to
reach out asking to be picked up. But I also enjoy seeing
our son grow strong and tall and most importantly, with
a beautiful, funny and caring personality.
