1/4 cups Sea salt
1/2 cup dried rose petals
2. Grind the sea salt in a mortar until desired size on the salt crystals
3. Crush the rose petals with your hands and mix all of the ingredients in a bowl
4. Divide into jars
It smells soooo good and truly makes your skin feel wonderfully refreshed and smooth. The salt might me too harsh for your face so you can opt to add grated coconut instead of sea salt.
There’s nothing like fresh natural ingredients for your skin. Here is another version made by my friend Jo-Anna using sugar that might be a little gentler on your face as well.

ps. one thing that didn’t put a smile on my face is that once I was finished taking pictures of the body scrub, I knocked my little water pitcher to the ground and it shattered. It was one of my favourite pieces…insert sad face here.

Yay!! Another coconut oil fan!!! We use it for EVERYTHING…you know, like Windex in My Big Fat Greek Wedding??!! It’s great for burns, pimples, scrapes, as a skin moisturizer, {it’s all I use on my face and body}, for cooking, it is antibacterial and antifungal, it lowers bad cholesterol and raises the good…just amazing!! And coconut water is awesome, too. It is identical to the make up of our plasma! Crazy, huh?
I absolutely adore this idea, and I love the little jar, the color of the lid and the tag you chose to put on it. So cheerful, soft and lovely!
Meh…sorry about your sweet pitcher. I’ll keep my eyes peeled for one!!

Oh this scrub sounds amazing! I love coconut oil and butter also. We use them in a lot of our products. So glad to have discovered your blog!
Today I tried making this scrub; first I had to make my own coconut butter since it’s so expensive here in Holland. After beating the coconut oil to a cream, I added the Almond oil, but it made it liquid again :(.
Did I need to beat them together? This is my first try in making my own creamy body scrub, so help!
