Hello friends, I hope this finds you well.
Today my head is full of questions. Not life changing questions that set you deep in thought such as, if you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be? Or, if happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?
I don’t have the answers, but I do have the desire to create and soooo….I will share when I can and maybe throw in a joke here and there and I’m sure everything will fall into place, just the way it’s supposed to…..
(purchased crystal vase fillers at the DS and glued them onto a Styrofoam ball. I then inserted a paper clip into the Styrofoam to serve as the loop to hang it from)
What I do know is that I truly hope you enjoy coming here because having you here makes all this worth while…:) Have a beautiful day !
much love,
Lucy
ps. here are some other ‘deep’ questions; you don’t have to answer them here; they’re just to put you deep in thought…………xo
- How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
- Which is worse, failing or never trying?
- If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?
- When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?
- What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?
- If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?
- Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing?
- If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?
- To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken?
- Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?

1. 28
2. both… they’re each forms of failure, so you just need to let it go… not the mind set of a 28 year old…
3. obligations
4. probably
5. too numerous to respond… there’s no knock list for that one!
6. caring, kindness, compassion, and creativity.
7. I’ve always tried to walk the walk.
8. Everything the same, maybe?
9. Not much.
10. Doing right… and doing them well…;)
Now, regarding your blog: Your writing is easy to read. You are expressive and clear with your intent. You are open and generous in both spirit and content. Why change that?
Your creativity is abundant, and you share well…
Open a shop! Why not? Your last set of questions have already prepared you for the answers you both want and will choose.
Love to follow your blog.
Enjoy your day, and your wonderings. They’ll surely get you where you’re going!

Per your own words, it sounds as though you have just enough of the answers in which to live life the way you envision it. 🙂

I’m loving your Ornament series. So beautiful with your lovely aesthetic– simple (as in unfussy) yet eye-catching. My 3 year old is sitting with me and wants to know– “How you get the ice on there?” 🙂 Have a great weekend!!!
p.s. i just had a “big” birthday, so those are very good questions for me to ponder.

Thanks for the ornament ideas! And the questions… I think I’ll use those as journal prompts. 😉

My head is so in your head, right now. I have been pondering some of these very questions! I too think about blogging like you do and wonder if I will do a good post, a funny…etc. I guess we all feel that way….have a great weekend and I love the simple but beautiful ornament!

Hi Lucy,
I would say that you send out posts about the right amount of time. Not so often that it becomes annoying, but just infrequently enough that it is always a pleasant surprise to see what is in store today! I just love your crafting ideas and think you write beautifully. I know it must be lonely in the blogosphere when you don’t get any (or much) feedback to what you are doing. Be assured that I wouldn’t have subscribed to your blog if I didn’t think it was worthwhile!
Your project today is simply gorgeous. I wish I could think of these wonderful ideas. This glittering crystal ball of ice would look so pretty catching the lights on the tree. Hopefully I can find some of the crystals and try this technique!
Your questions have certainly provided food for thought!

Love the crystals and I will be looking for those, they look just right to glue to a tiny princess crown, but, to answer your questions…
About 39. I’m always surprised by how old I actually am. Like..really? How did THAT happen?
Depends on the size of the fail…
Why? Some of it is down to responsibility. Life is sweet, of course, but that might be to take away the taste of some of it.
Said. That’s why I’m sat here instead of doing.
The colour. No one’s life should be faded or washed out.
I surprised myself with this answer, but cooking! I love to feed people. Do you want some pie?
WHEN (and I repeat, when) I get my derriere off the sofa, mostly I do what I believe in.
I’d have learned who I was quicker, instead of taking decades over it. You can’t do what you want until you know who you are.
Little things, I’m a people-pleaser. Big things, I just wade in and change. I’m where I want to be, but I had to change my life to be it.
That’s a good question, the last one. I think I’m more concerned with doing the good thing than the right thing. I never so anything right.
Thank you for posting these. I don’t answer this kind of thing but I was intrigued by the question you put.
To answer your own questions, you have a lovely blog, full of good things. Don’t worry about it so much. We’re all anxious here, behind our monitors, about how we are doing and what we are contributing.

I love this ornament idea! And I love that you put into words what I feel when I blog, too. Should I put something up every day or every week, or just hang up my computer and get a real job? I’d take up more space here contemplating, but there’s an ornament waiting to be made! And you’re invited to stop by my blog if ever you need a break from creating: http://viewfromthewinepress.com.

Good questions for thought…I will be thinking all evening while I mop up the bathroom my kid flooded earlier today. Sigh. I featured your crystal ball today! I thought it was simply beautiful. 🙂

this ball is stunning!!! I thought at first those were beads pinned on….I remember those ornament kits from when I was a kid and always thought they turned out beautifully for what they were…this kicks it up a notch and I am gonna try this one…I thinks its a tiny bit more grown up 🙂
I’m a newer follower of hyour blog and I think we all have those questions running thru our heads and wonder if people really wanna read what we have to say. Be true to yourself and do what makes you happy and you can’t go wrong!!!!
Hugs!!

How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are? 60
Which is worse, failing or never trying? ~ never trying.
If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do? ~lack of boundaries; everyone is hurting
When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?
~ maybe by a smidgen
What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world? ~ make everybody love each other
If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich? ~ I have no clue
Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing? I am doing what I believe in. But it wasn’t always that way …
If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently? I wouldn’t have settled like I used to in younger years, trying to be nice and wasted time by doing so.
To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken? All of it. By action, lack action , words I used , things I didn’t say etc .
Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things? I want to do the right things right.

I’ve recently turned 41, and you know what? The 30s were definitely the best decade of my life so far. By then you know what you like/want/need and you aren’t afraid to get it. Enjoy this age. 😉

Cryptocurrency is money that does not exist in a physical sense, buy and sell bitcoin in pakistan but instead in a digital state. An example being Bitcoins or Litecoins (buy bitcoin in pakistan). Mining is the act taken to try to obtain Bitcoins etc, bitcoin exchange in pakistan. A certain program can be downloaded that runs on the computer and ‘mines’ for Bitcoins.
