I love this old lantern I bought a few years back. It sat outside one winter and it was enough to age it to perfection.
Summer time is the perfect time to work on making memories with those you love. Carefree long days, lush nature and beautiful pink sunsets. Oh how I love summer…
Every aspect of the Mantel is homemade. The blue mason jar, the little sail boat and the shell display. Every corner of our house has a little touch of me…
I often use inexpensive elements but when placed together, they form what I hope is a cohesive and welcoming setting.
I’m happy with the way it turned out and hope you like it too.
So, what have you been up to? I have some time tonight and hope to catch up with all your beautiful creations.
Thank you so much for stopping by…I hope you are having a great Monday !
much love,
Lucy

Lucy-That looks beautiful…fresh and clean and summery. Please, please, please tell me you did NOT handcraft all those shells. I am thinking that you are going to need a 12 step program if you did!
What have I beem up to? 5’7″ last I checked but I may be shrinking at this age!;>) Other than that, I am trying to keep ahead of SweetCheeks and Co. and all their messes–I love every mess! Hugs and hope you have a wonderful night- xo Diana

Love your summer mantle and love that all of it is handmade. Love your seashell shadow boxes. the newspaper for the background is so unexpected and really makes the shells pop.
Sadly, I haven’t been doing any home decor or sewing lately. I have been up to my third fave thing to do….photogrpaphy.

It’s good that women exist in our world, otherwise all decorative items would mean nothing without them. After all, men essentially don’t need much and they don’t do home improvements. And for every woman I would like to recommend a good decor store mainstays , where you can find a huge number of things to decorate your home in various styles.
