Hi sweet friends, I hope you had a lovely weekend and your week has gotten off to a great start.
As I’m sure is the case with many of you, I don’t particularly welcome Mondays very well. I find it so hard to wave goodbye to the kiddies as they re-enter their own world at school and seeing hubby walk away as he faithfully goes to work is always a bitter sweet moment. I appreciate him so much for providing for our family yet I miss him during the day.

I wish I could stretch the weekends out a little longer, but alas, life goes on and we must follow our daily rituals and adhere to the clock as its needles hypnotize us into its submission.
But this Monday morning, I woke up to a sweet email from some dear friends in France; Aurelie and Elisa. Their email made this Monday much more exciting than usual.
Elisa is the editor of a French online magazine titled, Mes Petites Mains – My little hands. A couple of months ago they asked me if I could contribute to their Spring edition and I of course was happy to do so. I felt so honoured to have been approached as I am amongst great company (to see the feature, you will have to click on the magazine and you’ll find me on pages 76-79).
When you get a minute, please drop by and take a look…it would mean a lot to me and to all the sweet people involved.
Thank you Aurelie and Elisa for such honour!
Merci beaucoup c’est un grand honneur!
I have also been working on another spring project that I think you will enjoy. I have yet to decide how I am going to complete it – the easy way or the hard way. But as hubby can attest, it will probably change several times before it’s finally revealed.
Here is a little peek…

It’s raining outside today, but the recently returned birds are still chirping and the sun is trying really hard to break through the clouds. The beauty of this being we might see a rainbow and that fills my heart with smiles!
I hope you find many things to smile about today!
much love,
Lucy
