Sleeping in on Saturday mornings is one of life’s simple pleasures. However, when one of your favourite stores happens to be having a Saturday morning yard sale, sleeping in is out of the question.
I wanted to share with you why I just had to wake up early Saturday morning (though not early enough as it turned out as a lot of the items had big SOLD signs on them by the time I had arrived).
This little guy is deceivingly heavy as its made out of cast iron (I have been working on some paper mache birds and perhaps it is time for a tutorial)
I purchased a few friends for him and together, they are keeping company with my white pumpkins. While they were originally $15.95 each, I only paid $2.00 for each of them (it was a really good sale)
This cast iron key hanger was also only $2.00
This gorgeous Fleur de Lis door stopper was only $5.00 (regularly $32.95 – sorry the picture is a little blurry). While I find it so charming just the way it is, perhaps it will look prettier in white?
I try not to get too excited about material things, but there is something about a sale that just makes you grin from ear to ear…..I am after all a girl ;o)
Wishing you all a lovely start to the week!
much love,
Lucy

Lucy, you found some great things! I love a bargain! Thank you so much for the site with some great ideas…loved it and think I will add some of the decor! I found another ‘apple’ engagement set-up at ‘Celebrations’ (blog is on my sidebar) and will steal some great ideas from her too! It is coming together! Thank you! Thank you! It is so nice to have friends in blogland to pass on ideas! Such a big help! Have a great week! Christie at Three Pixie Lane

WOW! That was definitely a sale worth getting up early for! You really found some wonderful treasures, even if there were already a lot of items with SOLD signs on them when you arrived. 😉

As a student looking for writing help, I found this papersowl review very insightful. It brings up important points about the platform, such as its accessibility, but also highlights potential concerns like inconsistent quality and pricing issues. This review reminds me how crucial it is to explore multiple reviews and gather feedback from real users before making a decision.
