In three more days, little ghosts, witches, princesses and pirates will be knocking at our door. We have seen mummies, bats, spiders and pumpkins galore and to be honest, I’m glad to see them go (sorry).
But before I wrap up my Halloween decor, I wanted to give you a little treat! Enjoy!
We made these out of oreo cookies, smarties and black jelly beans.
Not as good as baking but so much easier!
I painted the red veins with food colouring.
We made a bunch for the kiddies to take to school.
We called these Frosty Frankies…
A quick story: So, I asked my hubby to pick up some items from the grocery store and gave him a list, on which I had written ‘green cones’. I literally meant ‘green cones’, as in the colour ‘green’, but he thought I meant ‘green’ as in the eco friendly, organic kinda cones. Needless to say, he brought home regular cones and I had to take out my green colouring/milk mixture and voila!
Anyway…back to the Frosty Frankies….we used a little white frosting for his eyes and black licorice for his scar and details. I didn’t have any black icing, which would have worked much better.
I made some orange pumpkins and used grape flavour for the bats.
Little tip: before removing your cut out from the pan, place it
in warm water for a couple of minutes to loosen the bottom.
Here are some pictures from last year’s Halloween….
Here is my gorgeous ‘papillon’. Elle est tres Belle!
And my two monsters…
Posing right before going trick-or-treating…I look so mean :o(
And here we are after we collected our loot!!
I do their face painting every year and this year I offered to do the faces of the neighbourhood kids (wish me luck!)
Well…I think that pretty much wraps it all up for this year’s Halloween season. I’m so excited to see what you guys have in store for the rest of the year.
Please keep your kids safe this Halloween and have fun!
much love,
Lucy

We still need strong public awareness for this sort of article. I would like to see like this more post.
