Hello friends. I hope you’re doing well.. The weather has been glorious and we’ve been taken great advantage of it.
I’m so happy to be joining my friend Jennifer on this Summer color tour. The colors in our home stay pretty much the same throughout the year but I welcome more green and of course blue.
Here is a quick photo of our front porch, I will have more next week. The planters is filled mostly with greens and whites nut I had bought these beautiful peonies a few weeks ago and they were blooming so much that I decided to keep them.
There was no way I could pass on having some fresh lilacs in our home again this year. 🙂 A sink full of them is what dreams are made of.
As you know these beauties don’t last very long so I had to take some pretty photos before it was too late.
Over the weekend, I had forgotten that I had cut some Lilacs and when I came down the fragrance filled the room and my heart smiled…:)
I haven’t done too much in the living room yet because I’ve been working on the family…
So just a few touches of green and a lot of texture…
I bought these baskets from Joss and Main the other day and I’m obsessed with them. I literally can place them anywhere and they look good…
I want to leave you with a tiny peek into the family room. I can’t wait to show you. I love the changes here…:) In the meantime, please don’t forget to check out the other beautiful homes.
Happy Wednesday friends…xo

Beautiful! Your lilacs are so pretty and full. I just looked at my bush yesterday and ours are already done for the season – and I only had a chance to bring in one bouquet! Your home looks so fresh and ready for summer!

Those lilacs are to DIE for. WOW! We cannot grow them down here in the South too well since our winters don’t get cold enough for them to do their thing properly. I’ll have to make do with my hydrangeas and crepe myrtles. 🙂

Love all the lilacs, Lucy. They look so soft in your white room. By the time I got outside to clip some, the flowers were already spent. Sigh. Next year. Thanks so much for joining the tour!

I love those lilacs! Beautiful! And I noticed your rug in the living room. Where did you get that, I really like it.

Hi! Love your home and your decor. Can you please let me know where you purchased the beige rug in your living room? Thank you so much!

Lilacs were my grandmother’s favorites. I’ve never had some in my home, probably because I live in Arizona (not much grows here but cactus). I saw the intense blooms on your table and I LOVE them! It really makes me think of my grandma. God bless!

The house you decorate is very beautiful. There are many beautiful ornamental plants very eye-catching.
