Hello friends. I hope you’re having a great week so far. I have to apologize for missing Watercolor Wednesday, but I promise to come back next week and make it up to you.
In the meantime, I’m so happy to be joining my dear friend Jennifer who put together this sweet Valentine’s day blog hop with some of my talented friends.
I love the title Jennifer chose as the name of the hop – Heartfelt and Handmade.
I chose to do a super simple yet in my opinion, adorable straw tote. I love how it turned out and I can’t wait to make more with different colours and sayings.
Here is what you need:
Straw bag ( got from Michaels )
Yarn of choice
Repair Needle
Hot Glue
Using a sharpie, write down the word or phrase of your choice.
Thread your needle and do a simple running stitch along your print.
Wrap yarn around handles and secure with hot glue each time you change yarn color.
Secure with hot glue.
I added some tassels for a little more whimsy…:)
Cute right?
I lucked out and got some matching flowers from the grocery store…:)
Thank you so much for stopping by. Please make sure to check out the rest of the beautiful crafts below.
much love,
Lucy

Lucy, this is so pretty! I often see plain totes and wonder what I could do with them to add a little color and pizzazz. Now I know! I love the use of embroidery on your tote and would never have thought to do this. Thanks so much for joining Heartfelt and Handmade!
