Hello, friends. How is your week so far? If you live in the northeast, did you get snowed in? They had forecasted a lot of snow for us, but it thankfully never materialized.
It’s hard to believe Spring is next week and it seems the groundhog got it right this time as there are no signs of spring out there. But it does feel a bit like Spring inside as I’m joining some of my favorite friends to bring you some spring decor inspiration and decor tips. This tour was organized by my dear friend Rachel and is featured by Country Living.
One of my favorite ways to change the entire look of a room is to interchange furniture from one room to the other.
As you can see, I moved our white couches from the family room to the living room.
It instantly gives our home a new look.
I love how my watercolor pillows pop against our white couches. During this time of year, I really crave a little color.

I shared my spring kitchen a couple of weeks ago HERE, but I took a couple of new photos just for fun.
I love this color combo, don’t you? The wonderful scent they give the room doesn’t hurt either.
Remember how I told you moving your furniture is one of the easiest ways to change the look of the room?
I moved our gray chairs here but I also switched the room around.

I also changed the shelves a little.
I tried to keep everything monochromatic as it avoids the shelves looking cluttered.

Lucy, where do you have your TV? I’m always looking for good TV ideas. Love the family room this way.
Well, technically we don’t have a TV in this room but during our kitchen reno I borrowed my daughter’s tiny smart TV and I haven’t given it back yet…(oops) But it sits on a little table that I placed on the left side of the room. I usually put it away when we have guests or for photo shoots. We have a ‘real’ large screen in our basement and if we want to watch TV we usually go there. The little TV just keeps me company during the day as background noise. ha.
If I were to have a TV in this room, it would have to be on the mantel, and I would probably ask hubby to make a cover or doors so I could not see it. :/ Check out this Pinterest board with ideas …https://www.pinterest.com/explore/tv-covers/

I really love how fresh and clean your home always looks. I also love your artwork and have purchased several of your pillows. If I may say though, I find the pop-ups at the bottom of each photo very distracting. Is there a way to turn that off?
There is so much light 🙂 That is one of the main reason to love the white colour. It suits perfectly with anything. Your spring home is beautiful. Love it.
