Hello, and welcome to part 2 of our home tour. If you missed it, you can find part 1 HERE.
I’m blessed to receive invites to participate in a couple of home tours throughout the year and I’m especially fond of this one as I get to share it with some of my talented Canadian blogger friends. If you are new here, a warm welcome to you. This little space of mine is where I share my passion for creating, including art and my love for photography. So please…come on in.
We haven’t had too much snow around here as yet, with the little we had received melting the day it fell. That’s supposed to change this weekend with the real first storm of the season expected on Sunday. I’m hopeful we’ll have a white Christmas.
How cute are these duck shoes from Joe Fresh?
Our front entrance opens right into our living and dining rooms…
While I love the open concept, it does restrict how I can arrange the furniture.
You can see more photos of this space HERE.
Get the look:
So let’s move on to the kitchen and family rooms…
This is our newly remodeled kitchen, the details of which I will finally be sharing next week. I hope you can come back and check it out.
Our family room is where we spend the majority of our time….
This tree has touches of gold and a tiny bit of blush, but it’s mostly a snowy wonderland tree…
I made these giant yarn balls the other week and shared them HERE.
This pretty little mug is from Michaels and the print for this sweet wrapping paper will be available as a free downloadable next Tuesday. I shared some of the designs HERE.
This is one of my new pillow designs this year. You can find it, along with many other of my designs HERE.
I styled the shelves using my cardboard Christmas trees, old ornaments and old handmade cloches (you can read more about those here). I also added a touch of ‘snow’ to the shelves for some whimsy. That should be fun to clean up after the holidays…ha.
Moving upstairs to two of the four bedrooms, because I dare not show you our boy’s rooms…
I shared our bedroom previously and you can see more photos HERE.
And more of Bella’s room HERE.
So there you have it…our humble home, all dressed up for Christmas. I hope you enjoyed our little tour and you were able to find some inspiration amongst these photos. And please remember, what’s most important about your home is not the beautiful decor, but the memories you are making within those walls.
From my family to yours, I’d like to wish you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a very HAPPY NEW YEAR.
much love,
p.s. thanks to my friend Christina for organizing the tour and please don’t forget to check out the rest of the gorgeous homes.
