Hello friends…I hope you had a nice weekend. It’s hard to believe there is just over a month remaining until Christmas. Every year, hubby and I tell each other this will be the year when we prepare everything ahead of time. And each year we end up doing last minute shopping. It’s what happens when two procrastinators marry. Together, we have formed a formidable super procrastinator.
Today I have joined some of my Canadian friends to share several handmade gift ideas in the hopes it gives you a little inspiration.
Do you remember me saying in this post that I figured out how to make moving GIFs? Well……
This is a super simple little hostess or neighbour gift. You simply take a few staple breakfast items and place them all in a little box. I find that stores like Homesense in Canada or Homegoods in the US tend to have really great specialty items that work well in a gift set like this one.
I used a little brown paper bag tied with some pretty red hemp cord and a simple tag all from canvas corp to put in some pre-made pancake mix. You can add a little instruction or recipe card if you wish.
Easy, fun and thoughtful, no?

What a cute idea for the person you don’t know what to get. Everyone eats breakfast, right? Okay, my nephew doesn’t but everyone else does. I’d do this for breakfast or dinner although the frying pan can be pricy so we’d have to shop around. Thanks for the tip! ‘m going to check out all the other links too!

Homesense always has the most unique items for baskets like this! I really love the breakfast theme you went with, who doesn’t love a delicious breakfast?
