As you might have already noticed, I love using natural elements when decorating or creating tablescapes. Not only are they readily available but they are also inexpensive and bring a little brightness to your home. This particular centrepiece was very easy to put together using seasonal fruits, some foliage and a few hydrangeas .
I originally placed this wool throw to anchor the display.
Because there’s no rule that says you can’t use a throw as a table cloth.
But because burlap is synonymous with fall,
I decided that this burlap runner by Canvas corp
was better suitable instead.
I think this arrangement would be great, not only as a fall or
Thanksgiving table but it can also be used at
Christmas by simply changing the foliage to evergreens.
TIP: I placed an upside down bowl inside the planter, in order to raise the fruit higher, that way you don’t have to actually purchase that much fruit. 🙂
Speaking of planters, I just love this crackle planter from Birch Lane.
You’ve heard me mention Birch Lane before when I revealed my front porch.
I love their line of traditional pieces because they are both fresh and affordable.
And because I love this planter so much, I just had to put together another super easy display…
See how easy that was? I removed the foliage replaced
the fruit with gourds, gray squash, some feathers and Voila!
I also added a little Thanksgiving messages on the pears by painting them with gold paint.
As well as a place cards …
Nothing fancy over here, but I think it works.
I’m loving the way the neutral colors of fall look with a little pop of maroon from the pears.
And of course, you can never go wrong with copper.
These beautiful copper mule mugs are also from Birch Lane and I just love the way they make the table setting look cohesive with the hutch display in the background.
So there you go, two super easy centrepieces that you can put together in no time.
I want to thank my friend Bre from Rooms for Rent for inviting me to be part
