Hello friends…I hope you had good weekend. We stayed up late watching the Oscars last night and now I’m paying for it. But at least the sun is shining and I’m hopeful for a good day.
Today I’m quickly dropping by to share this super easy Easter craft. I needed to take some Easter themed photos but realized I didn’t have any Easter’ish’ dinnerware, so I made some.
These are so easy to make and the perfect afternoon craft with your kiddies. All you need is some plain bowls (mine are from the Dollar Store), some ceramic paint and a Sharpie.
Simply dip your index finger in the paint and dab it onto the surface.
Allow paint to dry and add a little beak, eyes and legs. That’s it.
Cure bowls according to product instructions and enjoy! I think these would also make adorable Easter cards, don’t you?
So there you go…a super quick and easy Easter craft to start your week.

Very cute! You could use a stamp pad if you were making cards …
You say to cure bowls according to product instructions. I so totally want to make some of these but how do I find how to cure them? I’m guessing you used paint on your finger, fabric paint or the kind you buy in a tube. I have a sharpie marker but when I use them in my garden on plastic markers for my plants the rain washes the markers away. How does it not wash away? I want to do this the right way so it doesn’t wash away.

Hi Gail thank you so much for your sweet email. I used Martha Stewart ceramic paints
Allow painted project to dry at least one hour. Make sure the paint is dry to the touch before baking.
Place project in a cool oven.
Set oven to 350° F and bake for 30 minutes. Turn oven off.
Allow glass project to cool down in the oven to room temperature, then remove.
