I love the bright and vibrant colors of fall, but for our home,
we choose the soft neutrals that are also available
this time of year. Aren’t these gray squash just gorgeous?
This simple arrangement is not only beautiful but affordable.
Would you believe this gorgeous antique wooden tray cost me $3.99?
It’s true!
Two weeks ago, my friends Melissa from the The Sweet Escape,
Kristen from Storefront Life, Virginia from Fynes Designs
and Daniela from Lifeovereasy, took a mini thrift store hopping adventure.
We went from one Value Village to the next, hunting
for treasures and we found some great things.
It was not only fun, but we were also driving around in style…
We drove around in the new Ford Escape, courtesy of Ford Canada.
While the other ladies drove, I got to sit back and enjoy the incredibly smooth
ride and play with the fancy, but super easy to use touch screen dashboard.
The truck had so much space, easily accessible using a little
kicking motion under the bumper to activate the liftgate feature.
Here we are having way too much fun 🙂
Let me show you some of the treasures I found that day…
This gorgeous silver pitcher has so many beautiful details.
Something tells me I will be displaying it season after season.
I was on the lookout for silver that day, and I didn’t come home disappointed.
Here is another easy fall display.
Look at this gorgeous silverware.
I fell in love with the monogrammed teaspoon.

Yesterday, I shared Bella’s room. We have been
collecting globes for her shelves and that day I found two.
The rest are also from Value Village.
And lastly, remember this sweet copper
owl I had shared on my mantel reveal?
Yep, this handsome guy also came from our thrifting adventure.
I had never gone thrifting with a group of friends before,
but now that I have, I would strongly recommend it.
I loved seeing how we all have different tastes and styles,
which we quickly learned and then helped each other find items
we thought the others would like. It worked out great.:)
Thank you so much Ford and Value Village for
this unforgettable weekend of treasure hunting!
I can’t wait to do this again soon.
So…what’s your favourite thing about thrift shopping?
Have you found any treasures lately?
Thank you so much for stopping by.
See you later on at The Inspiration Gallery.

I’ve been blessed to be part of a thrifting trip the last number of years. We thrift all the way to a friend’s cabin – and then thrift home again. It’s awesome! And yep – I recommend it too!

What wonderful thrift store finds! And how fun that you got to go with friends. When we lived in Canada or were back for a visit I loved stopping at Value Village to hunt for treasures. One of my favorite things to look for is decorative storage jars. Glass bake ware is something else that I check for. I love the silver that you found.

Wonderful finds!! After many years, l decided last weekend to go thrift shopping for milk glass. I was so happy I was able take home some vases and urns to add to my existing collection. Tomorrow is thrift day for me again! Hopefully I’ll find some more treasures!
