Happy Monday! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend!
We are recovering from a busy, yet happy weekend as
hubby and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary and our
youngest son played his last soccer tournament of the year.
youngest son played his last soccer tournament of the year.
I am happy to report his team placed first overall in
the regular season and also won the playoff tournament.
Hubby is the coach and I adore seeing him beam with pride
as his ‘boys’ celebrated their victory. Little moments that are engraved
in my heart forever and make me love him more and more each day.
Do you ever have days when you are fully present?
When each and every smell, sound and sight
become so vivid and fills you with tender love?
become so vivid and fills you with tender love?
That’s what this weekend was like for me.
I’ve realized once again that I don’t need fancy gifts
or expensive dinners to know that I am loved.
or expensive dinners to know that I am loved.
That my family’s happiness is not dependent on the
material but on the support and love we have for each other.
I am always humbled and grateful
that God takes care of us the way he does.

Life may be full and extravagant
or humble and sparing.
But if love is the centre of it,
it will be a happy one.

But if love is the centre of it,
it will be a happy one.
You just have be present.
During one of my walks with our dog, I picked some wild
flowers from the fields. They are considered weeds and yet when
I brought them in and gave them a home along with some of my
hydrangeas, they became a beautiful part of a fall arrangement.
A humble yet beautiful fall arrangement.
This pretty much sums up our relationship – he drives me crazy,
I drive him crazy and at the end of the day we are deeply in love.
And here is our proud boy with his trophies.
The trophies are just the tangible part, as what is truly
important is the time he spent with his dad making
memories. That is the real victory in this story.

Hey there, Lucy! Happy to see your blog! Many many heartfelt congratulations for your 17th wedding anniversary and for your youngest son as well who has won the soccer tournament recently! It is also great when a father is a mentor for the children, and they together celebrate their victory. Life is too short to experience everything, but a lot of little things can make the life of the individual more happy and enjoyable. Your thought for the collection of wildflowers from the fields was celebrated as the decoration reaches the next level with natural and organic decoration styles. Being the same with some different aspects retains the love and fun new every day. I hope that you enjoy your life with more love and affection!

I adore many aspects of this ranch wedding captured by Half Orange Photography. The first was the stunning description of the bride.
